CAPO VERDE: BRAVO VILA DO FAROL

LOCATION AND STRUCTURE: Situated on the island of Sal, the village is informal, recommended not only for sportsmen but for anyone who wants to enjoy a holiday of pure relaxation; located within a large garden, it consists of 234 bungalows distributed in pleasant alleys. It is about 23 km from the airport and a little over 1 km from the lively town of Santa Maria where you can enjoy the Cape Verdean nightlife. The transfer to and from the airport takes just 10 minutes.

BEACH AND SWIMMING POOLS:t he long, wide coastline of fine golden sand overlooking the pristine ocean is undoubtedly one of the village's strong points; a true piece of paradise ideal for long, pleasant walks. If the beach is one of the favourite places for relaxation, even inside the village there is no shortage of areas for rest and recreation, such as the saltwater swimming pool, surrounded by large sun terraces (with shaded areas), with an area reserved for children and one reserved for diving trials. In the pool and on the beach there are sunbeds and beach towels, the latter on deposit.

RESTAURANTS AND BAR With the all-inclusive formula offered by the village there is more taste, especially at the table. The full board buffet in the main restaurant is enriched by the presence of chefs from the Italian school who guarantee quality, as well as a rich variety of dishes. During meals, drinks are served on tap: soft-drinks, natural mineral water, local beer and wine; there is also a lobby bar, a snack bar and a pool bar, an open bar where you can enjoy soft-drinks, local beer and wine, natural and sparkling mineral water, tea, coffee, national spirits, alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails accompanied by sweet and savoury snacks. For a fee: all bottled and canned drinks, drinks after midnight and branded spirits. There is also the possibility of booking a lobster dinner at an extra charge (available at almost any time of the year, except when not available)

SPORT AND NOT ONLY The Bravo Vila do Farol is a perfect combination of passion for sport and entertainment. To keep fit you can indulge in archery, beach volleyball, beach soccer, beach tennis, a multi-purpose greenset tennis and basketball court, water aerobics, step aerobics, aerobics, darts, table tennis and bowls. For a fee: table football and billiards. Being in a windy area all year round, particularly in winter, the location is also ideal for water sports enthusiasts to practise in the presence of waves: (extra charge) kitesurfing, wave surfing and diving centre.

BUNGALOWS: The bungalows (approx. 32 m2, maximum occupancy 3 adults) are equipped with a private bathroom with bathtub or shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, mini fridge and safe. Connecting rooms are also available to accommodate families (minimum occupancy 2 adults and 2 children, maximum occupancy 4 adults and 1 child). The resort accommodates international guests.

SERVICES Free Wi-Fi connection throughout the village, TV room, conference room, playroom area for children. For a fee: boutique, ‘Sol e Sal’ beauty centre and external medical service.
