MALDIVE: SEACLUB SANDIES BATHALA RESORT

DESCRIPTION : An eco-resort of rare elegance, nestled in an extraordinary natural setting in the northeastern part of the Ari Atoll, known for its seabed and crystal-clear waters.

BEACH & POOL LOCATION : Located in the northeastern part of the Ari Atoll, the resort is about 65 km from Malé airport. Transfer is by fast boat (about 1 1/2 hours depending on sea conditions). The hotel is set on a small coral island measuring 300 by 150 meters, nestled among palm trees and tropical vegetation and surrounded by a magnificent beach. Two convenient jetties provide easy access to the open sea beyond the reef. An infinity pool with magnificent panoramic views is also available. Sunbeds and beach towels are available to guests.

RESTAURANTS AND BAR: The resort restaurant, located on the beach, provides buffet service for all meals and offers Mediterranean and international specialties, grilled fish, show cooking and theme nights. A beach bar is also available to enjoy a refreshing cocktail by the sea. For an additional fee: a la carte seafood dinners on the beach by candlelight (reservations required)

ROOMS : The resort offers guests two types of rooms: 46 beach bungalows that have been completely renovated in an elegant mix of modernity and typical Maldivian style, where white dominates, distributed on the outer perimeter of the island and directly facing the sea; 24 water bungalows accessible by a wooden jetty, have a double bed and sofa bed and a terrace equipped with sun loungers. In the water bungalows children are allowed from the age of 8. All rooms have air conditioning, private bathroom with double sink, shower (Maldivian style in the beach bungalows), hair dryer, telephone, safe deposit box, American-style tea and coffee making facilities, mini-fridge

stocked daily with mineral water, furnished veranda and Wi-Fi.

SERVICES, SPORTS AND RECREATION: Wi-Fi connection, 24-hour reception and game room with TV. For a fee: laundry service and boutique. There is a small infirmary for first aid, while medical care requires traveling to a nearby island. For snorkelers, there are eight dive sites on the island and the best sites in the Maldives can be found nearby. There is an experienced and professional PADI Diving Center, which organizes paid courses for beginners and professionals, and water sports, which offers free snorkeling equipment rental for the entire stay and daily guided trips around the house reef, as well as private kayak and dhoni rentals (for a fee). Also available is a fully equipped gymnasium, a beach volleyball court, billiards, table tennis, bocce ball, and for an additional fee a small spa with massages, beauty rituals, and beauty treatments. In terms of entertainment, you can opt for complete relaxation or get involved in the many activities offered by the entertainment team. When daylight falls, the evening entertainment comes on with local and international music and various activities to end the day on a high note.
