KENYA: BRAVO WATAMU BEACH

LOCATION AND STRUCTURE The Bravo Watamu is located in Jacaranda, an area known as Sardinia 2 for the beauty of its beach and the magnificent colours of the ocean that characterise this stretch of coastline. It is 6 km from the centre of Watamu, 14 km from Malindi and 125 km from Mombasa Airport. The hotel is located within the Watamu - Malindi Marine Park, a UNESCO protected area, a nature reserve with a great variety and diversity of marine and terrestrial species, living in the ocean waters or in the intricate mangrove forests. Also adding to the park's biodiversity is the presence of sea turtles nesting on the beaches.

BEACH AND SWIMMING POOLS The hotel overlooks a beautiful, wide beach of fine white sand lapped by the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean in wonderful shades of blue to green. It has a swimming pool and a seawater Jacuzzi, equipped with sun loungers and parasols subject to availability, Balinese sun loungers available (extra charge). Free beach towels both on the beach and at the pool. This stretch of coastline is part of the Marine Park area, a protected oasis, which is why the use of masks and flippers entails specific permits and a fee subject to change (payment on site).

RESTAURANTS AND BAR The main restaurant, located close to the beach, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offers Italian and international cuisine carefully prepared by the Italian chef, with buffet service. In the same area, in the beach area, is the main bar, a great location to quench your thirst near the sea and break up the day with tasty snacks and pizzas baked throughout the day from the oven in front of the restaurant. At Bravo Watamu, for a magical evening, you can enjoy special dinners while enjoying the spectacular view of the Indian Ocean (extra charge).

ROOMS 78 rooms divided into superior and deluxe, the latter are larger and furnished differently, they are located in the two blocks closest to the sea, on the beach while the newly built ones overlook the swimming pool. The rooms can be double, with king-size or twin beds, triple and quadruple. All are renovated and furnished in local style with decorations reminiscent of African culture. They have a private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, a bed with mosquito net, a safe, a mini-fridge, electric adapters, a hairdryer and a balcony or terrace. Connecting rooms are also available. Cots available on request and subject to availability.

SPORT AND MORE A multi-purpose sports court for beach volleyball and beach tennis, billiards, table football, darts, table tennis, bowls are available to guests.
