REPUBBLICA DOMINICANA: BRAVO VIVA DOMINICUS BEACH E PALACE

LOCATION AND STRUCTURE: Very close to the centre of Bayahibe, the Bravo Viva Dominicus Beach and Palace overlooks a vast beach of the clearest sand, lapped by water of incredible transparency. The two resorts are set in manicured gardens framed by tall palm trees. It is 18 km from La Romana airport, 117 km from Santo

Domingo city and about 100 km from Punta Cana airport and the Bavaro coast.

BEACH AND SWIMMING POOLS: With fine white sand, the beach is almost 1.5 km long and is shaded by tall palm trees. At Viva Dominicus Beach there are five swimming pools, two of which have a children's area and an infinity pool with salt water. There is also a children's water play area. At the Viva Dominicus Palace, there is a swimming pool for adults, a children's pool and a Jacuzzi. The use of sunbeds, parasols and beach towels is free of charge (subject to availability), at the pool and on the beach.

RESTAURANTS AND BARS : At Viva Dominicus Beach: main restaurant La Terrazza located next to the placita open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with buffet service, show cooking corner and themed evenings, La Roca open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with buffet service; La Pizzeria open for lunch and dinner with buffet service and pizza all night long; 5 à la carte restaurants open for dinner and on reservation with Mexican specialities, fusion proposals, Latin cuisine specialities, Mediterranean cuisine and, for an additional fee, with fish menu. 5 bars including 1 snack bar and 1 disco bar. At the Viva Dominicus Palace: the main restaurant La Yuca open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with buffet service, diet corner and theme evenings, 5 à la carte restaurants open for dinner and upon reservation (4 of which with additional charge for Beach guests): Bambù with oriental cuisine menu, Palito de Coco with Dominican menu, Il Palco with Italian specialities and free of charge also for Beach guests, the Viva Cafè with international cuisine and located on a suggestive pile-dwelling over the sea, Viva Rodizio, new theme restaurant with terrace and panoramic view. Located close to the beach, Viva la Creperia and Tiki Bar, for smoothies and fresh fruit smoothies. Palace guests can also make use of all the restaurants and bars on the Beach side. 

ROOMS: The pleasant rooms at Viva Dominicus Beach are divided into standard and superior, both located in 3-storey blocks, and in quaint bungalows, coral stone structures with makuti roofs, some with wonderful ocean views. Standard rooms have a queen-size bed, air conditioning, cable TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, safe (extra charge), mini fridge, hairdryer and private bathroom with shower, some with balcony or small terrace. The superior bungalows are more spacious than the standard bungalows and also have a mini fridge, iron and ironing board. The garden view bungalows, all of which have been renovated, and ocean view bungalows are located within the garden or on the beach, and also have a mini fridge, private bathroom with shower and terrace. Among the types available at Viva Dominicus Palace, there are superior ocean view, newly renovated and larger premium 1 or 2 beds, and superior plus. The Premium 1 and Premium 2 beds have air conditioning, Wi-Fi, telephone, cable TV, minibar stocked on arrival with water and soft-drinks, safe (charges apply), iron and ironing board, private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, balcony or patio if on the ground floor. Cots available on request for all rooms, except for standard beach (cot occupancy).

SPORTS AND MORE: Two tennis courts (lighting for a fee), padel court (for a fee for Beach guests and free for Palace guests for 1 hour per day and with padel equipment, lighting for a fee), archery, gym with sauna, non-motorised water sports and group lessons in windsurfing, sailing, canoeing, kayaking climbing wall, volleyball, water polo, water aerobics, aerobics, zumba, stretching, trapeze lessons, TRX and paddleboard lessons, beach volleyball, boccia, five-a-side football pitch (hard surface), pickleball court, table tennis, children's play area and disco. For an additional fee: billiards, SPA for massages and wellness treatments, in-house Viva Diving centre with PADI certification, motorised water sports, individual lessons in the planned sports.

SERVICES: Wi-Fi throughout the resort, amphitheatre at Viva Dominicus Beach. For an additional fee: laundry service, boutique, gift shop, photographer, hairdresser, car rental, currency exchange and ATM counter at Viva Dominicus Beach reception, conference room for up to 250 people; on request: in-house medical service.
