ZANZIBAR: SEACLUB STYLE TUI BLUE BAHARI

LOCATION & STRUCTURE: Located on the waterfront on the east coast of Zanzibar Island, near Pwani Mchangani, this luxurious resort is set amidst exotic gardens and towering palm trees. It is about 45 kilometres from Zanzibar Airport and about an hour from Stone Town, the island's capital.

RESTAURANTS AND BAR: The Restaurant, the main restaurant with international cuisine, offers a rich buffet with freshly prepared dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner (formal attire is required for dinner with long trousers or dress shorts for men). The hotel also offers a choice of two alternatives for lunch on the beach: the Tastes of Asia, with quick but delicious Asian specialities, and the Green & Grill, which offers grilled meat and vegetables with live barbecue, served buffet-style.

At the Italian restaurant and pizzeria ‘Andiamo’, open only for dinner, you can enjoy delicious starters and first courses in addition to pizza. Last but not least is the Breeze, where you can enjoy excellent fish dishes (extra charge). All restaurants must be booked at least one day in advance, booking also available via the Tui Blue App. Two theme nights are organised every week: African-Arab on the beach and dinner by the pool. The Mama PawPaw bar by the pool in the Deluxe rooms offers cocktails and drinks as well as tasty snacks. Zanzi-Bar on the beach offers cocktails and soft drinks, tea and coffee. A wide variety of cocktails, wine, beer and selected spirits are served in the bar by the main pool. The Green & Grill bar is located near the beach and offers cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.

BEACH AND POOLS: Overlooking the beautiful white sandy beach and the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, which can be reached from the rooms by a flight of steps leading down to the public area. It has a main pool with a children's area and a pool next to the deluxe rooms. Free umbrellas, sunbeds and beach towels on the beach and by the pool.

ROOMS : The 207 rooms have king or twin beds, mosquito net, ceiling fan, air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV with satellite channels, Wi-Fi, safe, minibar (soft drinks, water and beer) and tea and coffee making facilities. Possibility of connecting rooms. 154 garden deluxe (maximum occupancy 2 adults and 1 child or 3 adults) in a dedicated area with swimming pool with reserved area for children and adjoining bar, and 50 junior suites (maximum occupancy 3 adults and 1 child) and junior suites with sea view (maximum occupancy 3 adults and 1 child).

SERVICES, SPORT AND LEISURE: Free Wi-Fi throughout the resort, including the beach and rooms. For a fee: laundry service, doctor on request and boutique. Conference room for about 80 persons. BLUE fit programme, beach volleyball, darts, multi-sports pitch (night lighting at extra charge), gym and board games. Playroom for unsupervised children aged 5 to 12 years. For bookings of less than 10 days the visa can be applied for on arrival in Tanzania, but we strongly recommend applying for it before departure from Italy. The cost of the visa is Euro 50 per person

For arrivals in ZANZIBAR from 1 October 2024, it is compulsory to take out an insurance policy called ZIC, which can be purchased online at

https://visitzanzibar.go.tz/ at a cost of USD 44 per person. You will be issued with a QR code to show when boarding your flight and upon arrival in Zanzibar.
