ZANZIBAR: VERACLUB SUNSET BEACH

LOCATION AND STRUCTURE: There are many beautiful and very different beaches in Zanzibar. The Veraclub Sunset Beach, another pearl of the Atmosphera Collection, is located at the northern tip of the island, in Nungwi, directly on an enchanting white sandy beach set among the rocks. Consisting of small two-storey buildings floors surrounded by lush gardens, it offers every comfort, an informal and relaxing ambience, beautiful sunsets and full moon evenings. Location, Nungwi. About 1 hour from the airport and 45 minutes from Zanzibar Town.

BEACH: Enchanting, fine sand, interspersed with rocks and lapped by clear waters. It is located immediately below a sandy terrace equipped with parasols and sunbeds free of charge subject to availability; free beach towels. The tidal phenomenon, although less incisive than on other Zanzibar beaches, makes the landscape different as the hours pass.

RESTAURANTS AND SERVICES: Main restaurant overlooking the sea with buffet service, bar, swimming pool equipped with free umbrellas and sun loungers subject to availability, boutique. For a fee, massage centre. Wi-fi: free in public areas and rooms. 

ROOMS : 68 rooms spread over several two-storey buildings (divided into Superior and Junior suites), most with king-size beds and some with 2 queen-size beds. All the

rooms are furnished in local style and have a balcony, private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, telephone, mini fridge and safe. Superior quadruple rooms are also available: some with one large room with two queen-size beds and some with two rooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, plus a living area with TV. Junior suites, on the other hand, are distinguished by their larger size and consist of a single room with a living area. In addition, in the Junior Suite rooms, fruit basket on arrival and kettle for infusions and coffee.

SPORT AND ENTERTAINMENT: Beach volleyball, beach tennis, water aerobics, fitness, table tennis and bowls. Games, tournaments, dance lessons and evening shows in the company of the Veraclub team

ENTRANCE VISA, to be applied for at least 10 days before arrival, online at the website of the ‘Tanzania Service Immigration Department ’ https://visa.immigration.go.tz/

For bookings of less than 10 days the visa can be applied for on arrival in Tanzania, but we strongly recommend applying for it before departure from Italy. The cost of the visa is Euro 50 per person

For arrivals in ZANZIBAR from 1 October 2024, it is compulsory to take out an insurance policy called ZIC, which can be purchased online at

https://visitzanzibar.go.tz/ at a cost of USD 44 per person. You will be issued with a QR code to show when boarding your flight and upon arrival in Zanzibar.
